Acquisition refers to the process of attracting and selecting qualified candidates for employment. This includes creating job descriptions and postings, screening resumes and applications, conducting interviews and assessments, and making job offers.
Development refers to the process of providing employees with the skills and knowledge they need to be effective in their roles. This includes providing training and development opportunities, coaching and mentoring, and performance feedback.
